Consultations are provided to individuals who are
18 years+ unless parental or guardian consent and identification  is given.

User's agreement

• The User enters this site at his/her own risk; the User's decision to access intuitive assistance online is his/her responsibility.
• The User agrees that this site is an “AS IS” service. This means any service, information, and suggestions are without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. "AS IS" includes Inner-Directions' right to modify or discontinue this web site, at any time without notice. The User further agrees that any service, information, article or material supplied is intended for informational and educational purposes only.
• The User agrees services, information, articles or materials will NOT replace or are NOT to be substituted for any medical/mental health diagnosis, advice/treatment.
• The User agrees NOT to postpone, or stop seeing, or replace visits to traditional medical health or a qualified health professional.
• The User agrees not to misrepresent his/her problem (s) or condition (s)
• Not to share or distribute our communications to other people, as they are specifically related to your particular condition and any advice or suggestions may not be appropriate and may be harmful to other persons
• The User agrees all verbal contact with staff at Inner-Directions will be appropriate and respectful; the user agrees the consequences of inappropriate behavior will be immediate termination of all sessions and no refund will be payable for that session or any other paid in advance sessions.

Disclaimer

• Inner-Directions will not be responsible for any Internet technical problems, either commercial or individual service provider's security systems connection problems, telephone connection difficulties, unsecured email messages.
• Should the User experience technical problems prior, or during a session, Inner-Directions will reschedule a mutually agreed appointment time.
• Inner-Directions does not assume any liability or responsibility for damage, injury to persons, propriety arising from the use of any information or material provided on this website or during a consultation.
• The User agrees that Counselor / Coach Dr Ruth Alvarez, Th.D., Ph.D. and her Inner-Directions website will be permanently released from all liable suits, claims, causes of actions, claims and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, of any nature resulting from the services provided.
• The User agrees he/she has read Inner-Directions' Informed Consent Agreement and fully understands and agrees to abide by its terms of use.

Changes in Terms & Conditions / Privacy Statement

Inner-Directions reserves the right to change its "terms & conditions / privacy statement" at any time. If and when this is done, Inner-Directions will revise the "last updated" date at the bottom of this page.

Cancellations

If the User wants to cancel a phone coaching/counseling session, the User must contact Inner-Directions by phone or e-mail at least 24 hours before the booked session. This allows time to re-schedule the session. A 10% charge will apply if a 24 hours cancellation notice is not received.

Privacy policy

Information collected from this website is used strictly for consultations, accounts and payment services. Inner-Directions will not send scam mail, or sell, rent or share information to any third parties.

All information obtained through consultation with me, whether via phone, email or online chat, is treated with the same confidentiality and privilege as information obtained through traditional face-to-face consultations.
